Amazing how time flies past us just like that.
Just last week, I am ready for my KL trip with Adilah.
Did the same thing as what we did the last time we were there,
but it never bore us though, haha
There's a high chance that we will be doing it again next year still

(it was just KL, but they decided to send us off still, hehe)

Staycation with TP kakis at MBS was super AWESOME!

Was uber happy that everyone could make it.

SAYANG KORANG!

The early birds were me, Liana and Mas.

Since we have this big deluxe room to ourselves we make use every part of it to take pictures, well except for the toilet though, haha.

After getting some rest (well, not really), we headed out to run errands for later’s party.

And by errands I mean food!

One thing bad about MBS is that it is pretty far from the shopping malls like Suntec City and Marina Square.

And the helix bridge ain’t helping at all!

And many of them also got lost finding their way here, haha

Back to our room around 630pm.

And Fahmi came to join us, followed by Tatia.

And then at around 8pm, the VIP aka Mira arrived!

It was hilarious how failed our surprise is, but still, Mira was surprised.

Well, its Mira uh, very easily got surprised!

And MBS toilet is a good place to hide, so BIG!

I made cupcakes for Mira.

It really looks like shit.

But its sedap lahhh.

Everybody loves it, hehe,

Then Syah and Khidhir came and fun times filled my Thursday nights.

From the catching-up session to the countless group shots and playing twister.

Thank god, the room is sound-proof.

If not, I think we will receive lots of complaints.

8 people, its impossible to keep us quiet!

Only Fahmi, Khidir, Liana, Mas and I stayed over.

And they starts to tell ghost stories!!!!

Up till now, I am still thinking about the ghost stories

AAAHHHHHH

We didn’t waste our staycation away.

The next morning, at 7 am we are already up at the skypark enjoying the cool pool and of course we got the chance to have the HOT Jacuzzi all to ourselves!!!!

YEAHHHH

So to wrap up our staycation, we take more photos!

Lastly, cheers to this 4 years(plus minus) of friendship!

From 15th October up till now, so many things have happened.

Firstly, I’m unemployed as of 1^st November 2011.

It’s not my employer’s decision though, it was the decision made by the bank that I worked for.

They need to cut staff so unluckily, it has to be me.

Oh well, shit happens right.

But never mind, let’s just look on a brighter side.

At least, I don’t need to face that irritating supervisor anymore, hehe.

Now the dilemma is finding the right job.

I don’t want to work at a place for the sake of money.

I want to work at places that can gives me a good experience.

The previous employment gives good money but the experience that I gain is redundant.

And to add more problems, I’m so fickle of what kind of job I want to be at.

One day, I woke up, I feel like trying out personal assistant, and then another day would be marketing, or maybe try out in government and then media.

SOMEBODY SLAP ME!

Ok le’t not talk about it.

It will never end I tell you.

Being unemployed, I had 14 days to study for one module, haha.

And boy, was I slacking.

Memorizing them points were extremely hard like that.

But thankfully, I managed to do a-ok for the paper.

Oh, and and I have an undercut!

Such a risky decision as I went to some cheap-cheap saloon to get it.

Was so scared that the lady might not get what I want but thankfully, she had some experienced before.

Its only 1 week old but its growing pretty fast.

Need to get Athirah to trim it before I fly to KL next week (huhu)

I did some baking as well during this unemployment period.

I made cupcakes for Mira birthday.

It really looks like SHIT, but….

Everybody who ate it loves it.

Really… I ain’t lying!

So I just need to improve on my frosting that’s all, hehe.

Ok will do another blog post for my first STAYCATION experience another time yah

Oh yah, did I tell you I have eczema?

Oh yeah I think I did.

Anyhoo, I’m free from that,

under doctor’s observation that is.

It will still come and go but with the use of moisturizer it will do the magic.

During my revision days, Athirah has been accompanying me for studies.

Thank god I have someone who is studying right now, hehe.

Her exams are in May actually.

Ni lah namanya murid contoh hahaha.

Thanks for the company, Athirah. I LOVE YOUUUUU.

Oh and someone’s gonna be in the same unemployed boat(soon-to-be ) with me.

Heheh, Faizah that is.

She had finally sent her 2 months notice last October.

Good for her.

She’s wanted to do it but she has no guts previously.

But for school’s sake, she had the courage to give THE letter.

Athirah and I loves you very much.

Sorry no gifts from us, but hope the treat and the cake makes your stomach happy.

Now, my mobile is with me almost 24/7, haha.

But, the battery life still sucks by the way,

Nonetheless, I still love it because of its many AMAZING APPS!

PENANG was just oh-so-boring.
Batu Ferringhi that is.
We were like stuck in this Hard Rock Penang Hotel, and there's nothing much we can do.
There's water activities to do, but the price are so over-rated!
Might as well, I go to Phuket to get better deals.
Yes, after the Bangkok trip I have this very cheap-cheap, good-good mindset when it comes to spend stuff on my holiday

So yeah, everything was like far away from the hotel.
Even for food, we have to travel far to get it.
And the people, well the people are friendly to you if you are good looking.
So yeap, unlucky for meeeee and Syidah! haha
These Penang boys are like vultures who have never seen pretty girls like that.
One thing I noticed is that, they are BAD WINGMAN
Yeap, thats Penang people for you guys.

But at least, well the very least.
The bed is very comfortable, and the swimming pool is just fun to be at.

Oh by the way, it is 1.4m tall.
So Sally has to get someone carrying her around in the pool or she will literally drown in there, haha

Will I come back to Penang again?
Well, if that person that I am going with, has a bike license and I do not feel like doing anything, then I would visit there again.
But for sure, not anytime soon at all, haha

Lykke li came to town last Wednesday.
Was effing shocked that she decided to do a gig in Singapore.
Fall in love with her when I heard Get Some on one of the Vampire Diaries episode.
And suddenly she's going to be in Singapore.
Wohoooo.

Now I wish Oh Land could come to Singapore.
Heheh.
I'm in love with her cutesy voice lah.
:)

Anyhoo, Lykke Li concert was plain awesome.
I've got a good seat, all thanks to Mira.
And no stampede!!!
THAT'S JUST YAWESOME.

When she arrives to start the gig, she reminds me of a dark knight coming into that hall to bring in some good music.
Haha, too much imagination I know.
But the clothes that she wear looks like just a piece of black cloak uh, haha

Apart from that weird observation, her voice was so so good.

She sounded the same as how she sounded in her songs.
PURRRFECT.
But she didn’t really do her crazy dance when she was here.

Nonetheless, I truly enjoyed the night.
Dancing away with my new gig kaki, Mira.
Oh yes, we were like in our world uh, hehe.

And, and, and…
I GOT TO HUG HER EVERYBADEHHHHH.

Atopic Eczema. Or interchangeably, Eczema is used with Dermatitis.
That's what I was suffering on my face and neck for the past 8 months.

It started with just a dry skin on my cheek, and then spreaded to my neck, and also create small patches in my other parts of my face.

The worst thing is that it causes redness to my skin.
And I mean bright red like the ones that makeup you called blusher.

I went to polyclinic three times for this problem until the doc decides that I need to go to the skin centre.
My appointment was suppose to be tomorrow, but the problem was getting on my nerves.
I hate people asking me what happen to my face.
It was so disturbing that I have lost so much confidence with this face of mine.
Everytime I'm out, I will always be touching my face to make sure whether it needs more moisturiser.

But thank god, I manage to get an appointment last week instead.
So the cause of this eczema is not fully known.
But the genes play an important part.
So the moment the doc was saying that, I thought that I was adopted because none of my family members are having it.
That was some wild thought eh.

And, the sad thing is that it cannot be cured.
And so another thought came to my mind.
"Walao, this is like having AIDS sia."
Ish!
So that means that I need to take extra care for my face.
Can't really depend much on commercial skin products but the doc's cream instead.

The prescription cream that was given to me works like magic.
Within 2 days, my face goes back to normal.
No more dry skin and no more redness.
WEHOOOOOO.

Was so so thankful that the prescription given were working.
But, last few days, I see some dryness on parts of my face.
It seems like the magic spell on the cream has run off.
:(

Ok maybe its not the cream fault uh.
Maybe I should stop touching my face when I'm working.
(Yeah, I was so happy that my skin is super smooth that sometimes when I'm working, I stop halfway to touch my face)
I'm handling with different kinds of papers, so I really need to be careful.
I need to remind myself of the scary HPB advert on the hands, when I wanna touch my face.
Confirm, I don't dare touch my face after that, haha.

And maybe also because I started to use light makeup.
I need to make sure that it has fully recovered before having any makeup on my face.
So for now, I need to potray my natural beauty to the world instead.
AISEYBEDAH, hehe

On a good note, the neck has fully recovered.
Alhamdulillah

ok this news is too good that it needs to be posted pronto style.

Everybadehhh, I PASS my driving lesson!!
And the surprising thing was that I scored 12 points only!
I is very SHOCKED okayyy.

So this post is gonna be a long one,
because I'm gonna tell you from A to Z.
:)

The day before my TP test,
I had 2 practical revision lessons.
It went very bad.
I was fasting that day and I had to break my fast because I curse too much.
I'm putting the blame on my chinese instructor.
Seriously, he sucks.

He easily gives up on me.
He starts giving me directions on what to do once I did a mistake.
Like seriously, how to do independent learning like that.
And also, he will be pissed once I did a mistake especially in circuit area.
Its like I just did a grave mistake like that.

And on the last 2 lessons with him,
he was scaring me with all these information about my TP.
Like the last 15 minutes of my TP test, is when the bus lane period is on.
And also, he was saying that on friday, people might knock off early from work.
And my response, "Fuck la, whatever happens, happens uh"
Was really pissed with his sarcastic comments.

Okay, maybe I'm too used with my malay instructor.
But seriously Mr Ismadi of car 163 is just damn AWESOME.
His patience with me deserves a big round of applause.
I can't thank him enough with all his useful tips.
Thank you PAKCIK!

okay back to the story.
After the two practicals, my confidence really drop.
I was already thinking about the worst situation.
Making plans of what to do if I fail.
Yes, I am paranoid like that.

Come Friday, 11.9.11 is my test date.
Took the last practical lesson with a random instructor,
and I think I did pretty alright.
So the feeling of confidence were there but nerves were really killing me.
This is bad as taking the O level.

Come warm up, I did so so horribly.
I rolled down the slope, I had problems with the gears, and had problems with the control on the clutch.
After the warm up, my nerves were really outa control, Foo Fighters couldn't help ease my tension.
THAT BAD until I had to call someone.
And the victim was Adilah.
Was telling her how bad it was until my name was called by the TP instructor.

JENGJENGJENG!
its already time for the TEST.
So the instructor was telling me to go to the car first to get myself comfortable.
And you know what, I went all the way till the end of the parking lot, only to realize that my car wasn't there.
When I turned around, I saw the instructor standing near my car.
Oh my Gawddd, so EMBARASSING.
The test have not even started!

Ok, the first thing I did was the slope.
Couldn't control the clutch well, so I had to redo again.
Thank God I didn't roll back.
That's the most important.

Then it was the crank course.
On the way to that, he seems to detect that I am very nervous.
He keeps on saying in an angry manner,
"Don't be nervous lah"
And all i could say is, "Okay Sir, Okay Sir"
Haha

Then, at crank course, he became more angry once I am in it.
I couldn't control my clutch well, so my speed of the car was too fast.
But thankfully, I didn't hit the kerb.
BEST.

okay on to the next one,
Vertical Parking!
This one I have no idea how I did or what magic I used,
I manage to get the car in the slot even though I did not get the pointers right.
I have to make adjustments and surprisingly I don't have difficulty doing it.
GREAT

Then off to parallel parking.
When I was doing ma thing to get the car in the slot,
my hands accidentally, touches the wiper, and then it was panic at the disco moment.
Thought that I had shut it down, but I did not.
And you know wadd, the instructor help to shut it off.
Was so scared that I could get points there but I guess there's no such thing, haha.
And, and, and, he went out to check wether I HIT the kerb.
I had a gut feeling that I did not, so I did not asked him, and the gut was right!

Done with the circuit and off we go and say hello to the real road.
It might be irritating to some if someone keeps on telling you the same thing over and over again,
but for me, I really need that especially in driving.
So i handle the directions well, because he repeats every sentence three times, haha.
Thought that I could get demerit points because of my gear, but nope, did not get that!
And you know there was once where there were many cars waiting to do a u-turn,
he manage to strike a conversation with me.
And thank god, he likes to talk, cos I LOVE to talk too!
So what I can tell you is that by the end of our conversation, he manage to know where I stay, which school I go to, Where do I work, How do I get to work, and How much is my salary.
Haha

Done with showing my abilities on the real road, its time to go back to the centre!
Really had the gut feeling that I could pass the test,
and it was really hoping that it is damn true.
The waiting is like the longest thing ever,
and my mouth never stop praying to God to give me a good result.

And then the result.
Instructor: Siti, please come here (hands showing me to the room)
Instructor: (hand me the result slip) Ah siti, you pass ah.
Me: (Face is priceless, starts to look at the mark again) Oh my god sir! Thank You sir! Oh My God! Oh My God!
Instructor: Yah good, you 12 points ah (tired face)
Me: (Smiling like carazy) Oh My God! Oh My God! Thank You Sir! Thank You Sir!

And his face really can't be bothered uh, haha.
I am just so so so thankful to have him as my TP instructor.
Thank you God for your help.

So yeap, after 35 lessons (yes that many)
After $2,000 worth of money gone,
my driving lessons has come to an end.
Honestly, this seems to be a bigger achievement than my poly diploma, hehe.
Its like winning an Emmy award :)

Very very thankful to have met and have Ismadi as my instructor.
He is just damn awesome.
Couldn't be thankful enough to God, for being there for me, for listening to my prayers and my friends' prayers for me.
He's the Greatest!
Also to my friends, who have been there pushing my butt and have faith in me when I don't about my driving. Thanks ladies, for being a great pillar for me.
You know who you are.
And also, to my brother and father for being able to keep the secret from my mom about my driving and also my dad for helping me monetarily.

Told my mom that I passed my license.
She was shocked about it but then after a while, she seems unhappy when she found out that my brother and father knew about it all along.
Sorry Mak, I didnt tell you cos you will tell the whole world that I am learning.
It will give me a very big pressure.
Having to tell my friends only is such a big deal of pressure to not dissapoint them.

And yet they came again.
Do you know how happy I am.
And I am so so glad that Faezah was willing to tag along.

So as usual the moshing was horrible.
but i was mentally prepared for it.
Surprisingly, I was laughing at most times as i've seen many shocked faces, haha
EPIC

The opening act was from the group called The Swellers.
They are the most friendliest group ever, like really.
Before they left the stage, they even said they wanna hang with us after the show outside the stadium.
AND THEY DID.
KUDDOS to them.

So around 915pm,
out comes Hayley in the matrep pants.
Still remember how these pants were so popular among matreps in Singapore, haha.

Ok, i wasn't really start struck about Hayley that night,
but it was TAYLOR YORK that I was going crazy for.
Must understand, i only got to see a glimpse of him last year.
So yeah, epic moment when i see him strumming the guitar.

The moshpit was CARAZY so I don't really have good pictures.

I came back home with a wet bra, like all wet sia.

But thank god, my body wasn't aching the following day, hehe.

I really hope they could visit our shores soon.

It would be a miracle uh if they could come yearly but yah,

crossing fingers.

Hope they could come down to KL this year.

maybe i drop by too, hehe.

Oohhh,the ending was just awesome.

She got somebody from the crowd to sing with her,

and have The Swellers to join them as well.

Its day 19 of Ramadan and its also means how long I have not been writing at this space.
well, actually more than that.

But anyhoooo, how's everybadehhh??
I'm doing OK.
School kicks in 3 weeks ago.
Luckily, I only had 2 modules to take this semester,
so most nights were spend at the mosque to perform terawih.
And I have been going to Geylang Baazar every week!!
woot-wooot. :)

But this fasting month has been exhausting for me.
I am always feeling tired.
LIKE ALL THE TIME....
And I have not been shitting almost everyday uh, so SAD.

But one thing for sure, the time is moving way super duper fast.
Don't you think so?
Its just 10 more days to HARI RAYA!

So the 2 nights of my past Fridays have been good.
Its been very very good actually, because it is filled with good food.
For sure, my stomach is the most happiest living thing on Earth.

Ok, so just past this Friday,
Faizah and I had dinner at Newton.
Its kindda famous for seafood.
So many stalls to choose from, and many were HALAL.
:)

Faizah had been talking about how great the food was.
She just had her dinner there a weekend ago,
and she don't mind returning again with me.
Sayang Faizah.(hugs)

Since she had been there, we chose the store that she had eaten before,
and its stall number 74

Its tagline is, "You Will Never Walk Alone"
Sounds familiar right???

Ok this is what we ordered.

Sugarcane drink with Lemon.

Faizah said this is the best sugarcane drink she had ever tasted.

And for me, I kind of just find that it taste like any other, hee

Satay.

I am supposed to be craving for seafood,

but the stomach seems to want a taste of satay.

There was only a few that sells Satay,

and I managed to find a Halal one.

Thank God it was pretty good.

Mmmm, wat is this huh?

Haha,

I totally forget its name.

I know its kerang in Malay,

but English...

err, u guys figure out yourself uh, haha

When we start having it,

the taste was pretty good.

But after a long while, when we start to get back at it after finishing the chilli crab,

it just tasted too sour for me.

I couldn't continue eating it.

So Faizah had to finish eating it, well not all of it uh.

Chicken Mee Goreng.

Even though we ordered the small plate,

I kindda regret getting it as we barely touched it.

The other food seems to be tastier like that, heh.

Its not that spicy as what we have asked for,

maybe that's why it was the least favorite food in our table.

And not forgetting, the Queen of the Table,

CHILLI CRAB.

Have not tasted many Chilli Crabs,

but for sure it tasted better than the one that I had at Sakura.

The buns were so yummeh especially if you eat it with the gravy.

But one thing that I was not happy is that,

there was not much meat in it.

I already took a long time to get the skin off,

but only to find out the "treasure" was so little.

So disappointing.

Maybe because we choose to have the smaller crab,

oh wells.

It still taste good uh.

Good place to go if you are really craving for Chilli Crab.

I will be back there soon,

but maybe I will take a risk and try other Chilli Crab stores.

Moving on....

Last 2 Fridays, was a dinner date with Adilah.

I saw this restaurant in one of the Suria shows.

Decided that I should go take a visit to the restaurant not because of the food,

but because of the boss.

He is darn CUTEEEE.

You know, the geeky kind of cute.

Hahah

I was satisfied when I see him at the restaurant,

he is FREAKING tall.

None of us had been to this restaurant before,

so I had Adilah researchd what bus to take to this restaurant.

It is around Upper Thomson area.

As we were from my school, we were lucky enough to find a bus that goes to Upper Thomson area.

Once we reach the right stop,

we start using the apps that Adilah downloaded.

Funny thing is,

the apps is for drivers,

so we end up reaching the back of the restaurant.

When we came to the front of the restaurant,

it was literally in front of a bus stop,

hahah.

We decided to take the Teppayanki set ($39.90 for 2),

where the chef cooked our main dish in front of us.

I had this experience before in KL,

but for sure,

this one in Singapore taste better,

and there were more than one main ingredient to choose from.

We had squids, beef and fried prawns for our main dish and veggies with rice to complete our meal.

And not forgetting we had sushis too.

I wanted to order more,

but most of them were expensive.

So we only settled for 2 types

So sweet of them to give all the customers free sushis.

Overall, this set is filling for the two of us.

The price for the meal seems to be OK(I am not that totally happy with it uh,heh),

but I am more disappointed with the price of the sushis.

But with the friendly staffs(many of them actually),

and of course the cute Boss, i will definitely make my way there again.

Am so gonna take this set again.

Oh, oh and I ate my sushi with this small ball of wasabe.

The explosion feeling you feel burning in the nose is damn SYIOK uh!

Bangkok Day 3 and Day 4!!!

So Day 3 was all about shopping.

Where else, other than Chatuchak Weekend Market!

Not much pictures were taken today here though.

Well, our hands were busy carrying bags of many shopping stuffs!!

Look at what I've bought

Hehe.

The best buys would definitely be the dresses.

You knw dresses that you can find at Far East Plaza is selling at only 200 baht!!!

That is less than $10.

BLOODY CHEAP-CHEAP GOOD-GOOD!

So far, I've won a few dresses, and it is of a good quality.

Only their shoes are not worth buying, especially if the pump shoes were made in Thailand.

The sole goes out easily!!!

BOOOOO.

We wrap up the day of the long walks of shopping with a good masage.

Mas and Sya opted for a foot massage,

while Adilah and I go for the Thai Massage.

200 baht for an hour,

and it is darn worth it.

Not for the faint-hearted I guess,

as you will be literally stepped on,

haha.

Ok last day in Bangkok.

Was totally not looking forward to it.

I keep on thinking the whole morning,

Why is today's the last day, DENGGG.

I know I was money-less, but I choose to want to be there for a few more days, hee.

So last day started with another Bangkok tour,

The Grand Palace.

This place is rich in Thai culture and how much they respect their religion, Buddhism.

It was an interesting sight to the history of this religion.

Oh almost forget to talk about this.

Apparently leggings were found to be an inappropriate dress code in this place,

so Sya have to put on a sarong to cover up her legs, haha.

There was too much till I got confused and decided to goof around instead, hehe

Oh besides the many temples, the grand palace sits within the same premises as well.

Goofing around with the guards.

I feel like Mr Bean here.

And our tour guide was just so AWESOME!

I LOVE HER

And she took good pictures of us a group too!

Stop at some Jewellery store,

where we end up buying last minute soveniours rather than jewelleries over there, heh.

Then its goodbye to our friendly tour guide and driver.

Back to our hotel and we have plenty of time before our flight home.

Ad and I decided to go for a foot massage while Sya and Mas decided to take a walk on the streets nearby to our hotel.

Its not just me who does not want to go home.

even my bag gave an attitude when it realize that we are at the airport already.

While waiting for the call to get into the airplane.

And that was it.

Ok here's the Day 2 post on Bangkok.

The day started early, 6 am BKK time for a full day tour of the famous sites in Bangkok.

Our tour guide were on time so we had to have breakfast in the van.

First Pit stop was the Sugar Coconut Factory.

Nothing interesting here.

I guess they do a stop over here so that the tour guide and the driver could have their breakfast,

and they eat VERY fast.

We haven't even complete seeing all the souveniors in the soveniour shop!

Then off we went to my favourite part of the tour,

Damnoen Saduak Floating Market.

It was not in Bangkok city,

so all of us passed out happily when we heard that the journey will be about an hour.

And most of our time in the van, we were all sleeping.

I still have no idea why we are so so tired.

All the jakun girls taking the boat for the first time.

The boat then took us around this small village.

It is such an opener for me, having to see how kampung life is all about.

While we are busy catching up with the latest technology, they are just leading a simple life.

It looks very peaceful.

After the sight-seeing boat tour, we then took another boat for the floating market shopping.

The self-proclaimed lady who know that she is beautiful,

and nobody need to tell her that.

Haha.

Very very friendly lady.

We bought some souvenirs to bring back home then once it is done,

we found a place to sit and try out their mango sticky rice and the coconut drink.

Sweet Indulgence!

Bought a new pair of sandals before we go off from this place,

and the staff was kneeling down to help me put on the pair of sandals.

Felt like a princess for that moment, hee.

Very very nice uh the people over there,

I was touched with their courteous act every single day!

Next stop would definitely win the most kecoh stop of the tour.

And it is the Elephant Ride!!

Adilah and I were shouting like CARAZY the moment we climb onto the elephant !!

Its like as if we were going to take some thrill rides, hahah.

After getting used with the sitting position, we started to take some pictures with our elephant

Done with this..

Off we went to Samphran Elephat Ground & Zoo.

We got to take picture with these sleepy tigers,(we got to touch their tales too!),

and I got to take take a picture with a baby elephant , named JJ!

And then its time for the Crocodile Show.

The show evolves around these two Thai guys who are doing crazy stunts with the crocodile.

Here are their crazy things that they did.

After seeing those crazy stunts, we end our tour to see Tahi cultural show at Rose Garden Riverside.

This show basically covers everything you need to know about the people of Thailand and their culture

That was the end of our tour.

Well, we did went to the Gem Store,

but none of us decided to get any gems even though the price is affordable, haha.

Then, we experienced the infamous massive traffic jams.

We were stuck in the van for about an hour plus,

but with all that chaos and we are expecting this,

the driver still apologised to us for having our time wasted.

SO SWEEETTTT right?!!!

So, to wrap our night we spend our time at Khao San,

the heavily populated place that is filled with tourists.

Had dinner at Chill Chill, because they have free wi-fi, haha.

But their naan was really GOOOOOD.

After dinner, Mas and Ad get their hair braided.

I did manicure and pedicure for the first time in my life,

My feet's dead skin were literally flying everywhere during the session.

Disgusting, but I was amazedballs though.

And also, I got some souvenirs in that area to bring home for my homiessss.

That basically sums up our long and tiring day two.

Got to thank our Miss Poppins(the nickname we gave her cos we have no idea what her name was) here,

for bringing us around.

She is the most kanchiong tour guide I've ever met,

but still,

she's very very nice

So ok, this is way overdue.
I don't know where time goes, but it seems to be slipping away from me.
I just do not have the time to update this space here regularly.

So anyhooooo, let's talk Bangkok!

Was really looking forward to this trip especially with the drastic changes at work.
This time I really pack light!!
Evidence below.

I packed light till I forget one precious thing to bring along for bed use.
But thankfully, I was too tired to think of her when come to sleeping, heh.
Sorry busuk!

Ok back on the trip again.
The flight was at 1055am, so we had a very early brunch at T3's Mcdonald.

Then off we go for takeoff.
Due to baggage problems, flight was delayed for half an hour.
That spoil my excitements,
And also the idiotic kids behind me who were just plain assholes who couldn't sit still.

Thus, Adilah and I manage to only catch a short amount of sleep.

So what to do, cam-whoring uh...

Not sure what time we landed, but I feel that we went through teleportation,
And we went back one hour's time in Bangkok, nyahahah.

We took their airport railway to our hotel.
Pit Stop: Ratchaprapop station.
But it is not said as what you read, macam French words like that.
Original saying of the station?
I can't be bothered to remember it, haha.

This coin look-alike has the similar function like our ez-link card.
You tap it to enter, and when you are exiting,
you put this coin into the slot and the barrier will open.

Their train was uber cool.
To get through to the other cabin, you need to go through here.
So like budak jakun, of course I give it a try.

But I think you can't stand in this connector while you are on the train.
It either you stand in this cabin or that cabin or that cabin
:)

Oh, oh.. you know their door closes scarily.

If your leg got trapped, I think it will be chopped off.

Reallyyyyy, not exaggerating uh.

Feeling proud of myself for this part here.
Cos with the help of the google map, I manage to navigate ourselves to our hotel.
We did not get lost at all!!!

So here's a look at our home for the 3 nights, Tango Vibrant!

The streets look dodgy, but it is not that bad uh.

Nice room and very very comfortable bed

Adilah and I were like monsters by the time we set foot to our hotel room.
Luckily, there was 7-11 nearby our hotel.
Their stuff were all cheap-cheap, good-good uh.
And this was the first thing that I went to look for.
And was my companion drink for the rest of my stay in Bangkok.

Anddddd, MAGNUM ice cream was freaking cheap!!!

So everyday I ate that uh.
Denggg, now like craving for it like that.

Ok, ok, I'm literally talking in very detailed manner here.

Ok, let's speed things up here.
After some rest, we went to take a walk around our new "hometown"
Was trying to get tickets for the Ladyboy Show, so we literally went from one mall to another.

And its not like walking from Tampines Mall to Tampines 1 tau,

but its like walking from Plaza Singapura to Ion Orchard.

Far Right??

There were very limited shops selling Bangkok tours and most were expensive.

Tip to anyone:
If you wanna go for tours in Bangkok,
Its advisable to book it online.
There are quite a number of trustworthy sites, and you can even try to bargain for a lower price.

Finally, we managed to get our tickets at MBK mall.

Decided to get dinner at Yana Restaurant ,

just because they have wi-fi.

Oh yes, we are the internet craves junkie like that, haha.

Tried their tom yum, but it is not that nice as what we can have in Singapore.

Not spicy at all uh.

Very very unsatisfied with their signature dish.

Then off we go for some little shopping,

and to wrap out first night in this cheap-cheap, good-good city

was to see some BAPOK.

Even though the cabaret show was boring at most part,

my life felt complete in Bangkok at the end of the show, heee

Just because... we got the chance to take pictures with them.

Many pictures were taken with Syahirah's camera,

and she has not been uploading it up in FB yet!

HMPH...

So meanwhile, I can only show you what I got in my camera k.

And yes, they have no balls already.

So Tuesday morning was spend going for this interview.

I cannot believe I really went for it, haha.

Its like I am fulfilling my childhood dream.

And guess what,

I manage to go to the second round of interview later in the morning

You know how many people went for this interview.

But now I am very nervous.

Just beacuse I was told to bring swimming costume.

I do not want to waste this opportunity so I went to the swimming complex after work last night to get the hang of it.

But not really helping uh, haha.

Having some wishful thinking now.

Monday starts with the Monday Blues.

This is especially bad, as this would be my last week in my comfortable workplace.

So yeap, I decided to take up the offer by my superior to go to the other department.

Initial plan was to leave the job by the time the contract at my current workplace ends, that is, July.

But...

I wasn't brave enough to do what La Roux has been singing it to me.

"I'm going in for the kill
I'm doing it for a thrill"

Oh well, school, driving lessons, personal finance were among the criteria that force me to stick to this job.

New department means new way of work life, and FLEXIBILITY is absent!

UGHHHH, everything must go to boss.

On a brighter note, my Monday did get better.

First up...

Alhamdulillah, I passed everything.

I survive the first semester of University life everybadehhhhhh

Thank you, God!

Wohooooooo.

Now no need to worry much about my loan, Phewwww

And then, it gets better when I return home.

The best book I've ever read so far.
Oh well, I don't really read much books.
Saw this at Times Bookstore when it is on display.
The first page of the book really got me thinking about it for few days,
and so I decided to buy it.

The book contains all round of emotions,
Disgusting, Sympathetic, Funny, Horrifying, Illustrative-Porn, Sad and so on.
In conclusion, corruption is the fucking problem that cause all this shit to happen in this prison.
Sadly, there is not much change done to Kerobokan Jail aka Hotel K now, even after this book is internationally published.

But after reading this, it scares the shit out of me to go to Bali for a vacation.
Well, I am paranoid like that.
I may need to take some time to really ease my mind before I am ready for Bali.

Had One Night Stand on the 16th of April.

Well with the 4 artists on Rock & Roots Festival that is.

Didn't attend the 1st day,

cos I wasn't really into Bob Dylan, heh.

And no surprise who I went with right.

Opening act was from 53A.

Mmm, they play many of their original songs.

Was not really into all except for one,

The Promise, if I'm not wrong is the tittle for it.

They sound pretty good though.

I should really check them out on Wednesday night at Timbre soon,

I heard they were pretty dope.

Ok, then came Imogen Heap.

She's so Funneh when she talks, hah

Was listening to her songs just briefly,

but after seeing her performance,

I really love to hear her songs more!

And, and we became her background singers in one if her songs.

So nice!

And she's damn experimental uh.

She played many instruments,

the piano, keytar, and other instruments that i've never heard of, haha.

Ok then the crowd got their jazzy moves out with Trombone Shorty.

He is one hell of a good Trombone player.

I was really really impressed.

Ok, he don't really look that bad.

Go google for him, he kindda HOT actually.

Ok then came the man of the night,

JOHN LEGEND

Pictures overload!!!

He was the first artist that I was so close to, 15 feet away to be exact,

and that got me to have tears in my eyes.

Hahahaha.

And, and, and he's DARN HOT!

I was expecting him to be skinny, but actually he's kind of buff.

Then we sang Ordinary People together,

and he said,

"You Sounded Good Singapore"

Damn honored to be part of the crowd.

Rock and Roots festival was AMAZING.

You gave me artists overload baybeh,

and I enjoyed every one of them very very much

12th April, The Script come to town.

We welcome them with our screams,

and mother nature welcomes them with her RAIN.

2 hours before the concert, the rain was very heavy.

But thankfully, it stopped during the performance.

The mud did not dampen the audience attendance though,

cos we still fill the place!

Just look at the picture taken by DANNY.

So many people righttt.

Howeverr, the people around me are not that fun though.

I can understand The Script's songs are very emotional, cannot head-banging to it.

But at least can sway the body whattt.

Nobody does that uh.

Thought of starting the trend to get people have their hands in the air and sway from side to side, but fail terribly uh, hahah.

I am not proud to say these,

But these people are like me, not really a crazy fan of the Script, cos we don't know much words to their "not-so-famous" songs.

I hate people who take up space in the crowd and not do anything, but I was one of them that night.

I have to blame this shit, I mean the mud that really makes me moody that night.

I need to pay attention at most time to stand properly, or else I will slip and fell.

Anyhooo, the performance lasted for about 1hr 20 mins.

Super happy they played my favorite songs that was not released as their singles, Rusty Halo and Science & Faith!!!

They were great performers I tell you, but sometimes I feel that Danny's voice was overpowered by the music background.

Very talkative to the crowd as well, I LOIKE!

I've got to see Danny alot, so I'm pretty happy with that.

Got to see him play the piano, the guitar, and him moving alot on stage.

He's one hot Irish!!

The botak guy, Mark, also not that bad.

He's sexy when he talks, hehe

Too bad, can't see the drummer, Glen that much though.

Then they tricked us by saying thank you and left the stage.

They left without singing, Breakeven, For the First Time and The Man who can be moved!

As per normal, the crowd starts to shout, "ENCORE! ENCORE"

Then followed by "BREAKEVEN! BREAKEVEN! BREAKEVEN!

hahah

But i think the highlight of the concert was when they were going to perform the man who can't be moved.

Everybody starts to sing the first verse up till the chorus without Danny singing any of the words at all.

Epic moment I tell you.

Will never forget that 1 minute of awesomeness!

At their twitter page, Glen wrote:

"Thank U Singapore!!! Last nit U were 1 of the loudest crowds we have played to in a long time, we'll be back! ;-) G"

And to the band, I say:

Almost 2 weeks ago,

Genting Highland was the place for me to have a short getaway with Sunita.

I was actually a little bit reluctant because my mind is filled with many school assignments.

But no choice, pay already so must go!

heh

So we took the night bus on Saturday,

with Sangeetha (Suni's Sis) and Adilah sending us off.

Macam nak pegi country jauh giler gitu,

until must bid goodbye and stuff, haha.

But MY OH MY,

having these two ladies around is so stressful.

Keep on telling me that I need to take care of Suni,

ensure that we are always nearby each other,

must make sure we carry our things properly, etc, etc etc

STRESS sia

But nonetheless, appreciate them for wasting their time to send us off

THANK YOU!!

I slept like a baby when we were going to Genting.

Chair uncomfortable, but i manage to find a comfortable spot.

I really think I can sleep anywhere, haha.

I shivered like crazy the moment I step down from the bus, and it was 5 am by the way.

And, and, and SMOKING really helps that time.

Its not check-in time so, we end up wasting time walking in the empty shopping mall, in the toilet just because my contact lens solution wet my bag, and chilling at starbucks.

So only by 1pm, we got the cards to our room.

Ok so, I have not travelled to many places just as yet,

but KL has been the city that I have twice visited and have been living in awesome hotels.

So when I got into my room, I really then know why the package is mad cheap uh, $75 ONLY!

Took our afternoon nap, then off to Pizza Hut for dinner.

This getaway was a budget one for me and of all things that I forget to bring was my CreditCard.

Was cursing myself half of the day for being forgetful uh!

So only ordered the pizza set meal.

This pizza isYUMMEHH!

And, and, and, their convenience store sell the things so EXPENSIVE

Ish, ish, ish!

So our tidbits was really choosen wisely.

SO SADDDD

And then the highlight of my trip!

HAUNTED MANSION.

At first, macan paham.

I told Suni, when we go in,

I want to scream at the "ghost" right in front of their face.

Step takot gitu.

End up, i was the one who is scaring myself.

At the ecntrance already, I got so scared when I see one of the ushers,

the Reggae ghost!

I almost cried uh.

If I explain the whole experience of this haunted mansion in this blog, it will really bore you.

Actually funnily scary but then again, I lazy to write every single detail, heh.

All I could say is that 10 minutes trail seems like an hour long, and I believe I did an exercise in there,

Running while Screaming like a mad girl.

VERY TIRED!

It took me a few minutes to catch my breath at the end of the trail.

These 2 "ghosts" very GATAL,

where got ghosts very cuddly when taking pictures,

they were supposed to be SCARRY

Then we went to Ripley's believe it or not museum.

And in there, I keep on thinking someone was following me,haha.

Too carried away with the haunted mansion lah.

Took many pictures, here are my few favourites.

End of Day 1, and I went off to bed by 2300 to restore energy for our second day.

Sadly, weather wasn't at our side,

so we couldn't enjoy the outdoor rides.

Even though I don't fancy these thrilling rides,

I still feel that the trip is wasted as we did not enjoy their theme parks at all.

Maybe another time go again eh, just MAYBEEEE.

So we end up watching, Adjustment Bureau.

Kind of sci-fi-ish to me, but a very good one I must say.

Then the rest of the late afternoon was spent bowling and walking aimlessly at the area that we can go.

And we found out some clubs, got excited for awhile, then realize that it is Monday.

Can't find anyone who knows the operating hours so we assume that it is closed for that night.

So the rest of our evening was spend in the hotel room,

watching TV.

On the last day, we woke up very early to get fat by eating the breakfast buffet.

Not so great lah the food.

But then on budget right,

so BEDAL jer.

Even though this trip can be classified as the trip to catch alot of sleep,

I don't know why but I thought about it alot even if it is 2 weeks already.

Maybe because I am not enjoying my current life now.

Haizz, for the stupid degree's sake,

Must sacrifice some good times then.

The next long-winded sentence will sum up my experience on their concert.

Luckily it's a free ticket, if not I will be cursing myself for wasting my money on a concert that I don't have much fun at all, but if Kev-Nish had given me that bottled water that he had sipped, everything about the concert would change TOTALLY!

And Faizah didn't enjoy it either.

But nonetheless, she said, "Free Whatttt. So Never Mind"

Ok this post is way overdue.

But got to blog about it because its so so funny that I need to remember for a long time.

Without further-ado, let me introduce you the story of my birthday surprise failed attempts.

hahah

So my birthday falls on a Monday,

Then this group of my friends decided to bring a cheerful start to my birthday.

But it kind of failed.

So this Athirah was like lying to me she's drunk,

and she wanna crash at my house.

I find it weird cos a few hours ago, she was telling me she just reached home from an engagement ceremony.

Then came midnight, none of them texted me, and I know something is up already.

You see, last 2 years Suni and Sally did come over to my house to surprise me.

So I knew there's a chance that they were under my void deck.

And I was right lahh

So then this Athirah called me and sound all drunk,

and needs me to fetch her downstairs.

I played along with her,

acting pissed with her for being drunk and asking me to fetch her,

hahaah.

So at the elevator, I saw her right outside and was like telling her to come in.

then she was like,

"No, you come out, I wanna puke."

And then, SURPRISEEE.

and nope, I didn't act surprise, but I just laughed.

But was, surprise though when I saw Sunita,

as she texted me earlier saying that she can't wait till midnight to wish me as she is having a bad headache.

I kind of buy it.

I'm not surprise but was touched that all these people sacrificed their sleep and taxi fares just to come down to wish me.

So Thank You Very Very Much.

Next up was the surpsise did by my colleagues at work.

This surprise passed with flying colours.

Was talking to Chermont about concerts,

then suddenly she burst out singing Happy Burpday,

and when I looked behind my other 2 colleagues was harmonising her tune with a cake.

So shweet.

Thank you very very much peeps!!

Then the final one was a Failed surprise by these 3 ladies.

So I was about to go buy lunch with Siti.

And as we were walking,

I saw Syidah and Fazilah walking back to our office.

Previously, Siti told me that Syidah decided not to follow us to buy lunch because she have her own food.

So when I see her, it is obvious that something is up right?

And the funny thing is, she thought I didnt see them so they decided to make a U-turn.

That was a one hell of a LAUGH OUT LOUD MOMENT uh

So when we came back to office for lunch,

Siti and I waited for them to come with their lunch and the CAKE,

and I cannot stop laughing.

So they came to the pantry outside with the cake and their failed lighting of the candles.

And another funny thing is the cake they bought were the same as what brought by my colleagues.

haha

Again, at the bottom of my heart, I wanna thank all of you again for your effort in surprising me.

Well, for twice a week and some saturdays, I will be drowning myself with books and attending lectures.
Apart from that, I have to work and also try not to end my social life(this include catching up on my U.S TV series)
I feel like a primary school kid who is whimping to their parents every morning just because they hate school.
But really, I HATE SCHOOL!

The past year had been awesome with no books and lecture notes lying in my room,
having no worries when to hand in assignements,
and having no care to do notes for exams.
I have the time of my life to do what I want.
But now, time management will be a priority for 2011.
How to have a boyfriend like that? heheh

I tried to put positive reinforcement to myself.
I would say,
"Come on Siti Fatimah, you can do this, you have been doing this for 13 years, 3 years won't kill you"
or, "You gonna love this course. This has been the course that you've wanted since secondary school.I'm sure you will enjoy studying it!!" or even the hard way,
"Come on BITCH! Stop being a baby. Get your ass to study so that you could get that degree and earn a better pay job!" (heh)
It kind of work, well, sometimes only.

Athirah and Mas really makes me feel like a child with their text asking me to have fun in school.
So cuteee.
Athirah even said that if someone bullies me don't hesitate to tell her.
Ummmm, will this happen to me?

It has been physically and mentally exhausting week for me.

Well, because of father.

Father had a heart attack on Monday night,

and we had to call for an ambulance.

I swear at that point in time,

I thought I would lose him forever.

He was really at the critical state.

It took hours for him to relive his breathing at a normal rate,

but it end up having him to be dependent of the machine to help him breathe.

And at this point, it is all up to him whether he is strong enough to fight this war.

With all the prayers given to my father( thank you to my twitter friends, cousins, relatives, families and my friends), and with God's help, he manage to be out from Intensive Care Unit after 2 1/2 days.

Right now, he is still hospitalized.

They need him to fully recover before they could discharge him

in which it means his breathing must be fully stabilized, must not be having diarrhoea anymore and also no more pains on his body.

I won't be visiting him the next few days because of school,

but Father, please remember that I always think of you and have my pray for you to get well everyday
